New to Monroe City Church of GOd?
Visiting a new local church can feel like a big step. We want to remove as much anxiety about gathering for the first time as possible for you. Whether you’ve been part of the Church your whole life or this is your first time, you are welcome with us.
Our services typically include worship through song and a Biblical message that’s practical and relevant to everyday life.
Most weeks, our MC Kids (ages nursery to 5th grade) will be dismissed prior to the message for their own time of worship and learning directed especially towards them!
You can come as you are—no pressure, no expectations.

For Your Kids
Common Questions
Will I be asked to give money?
In short, no. When writing to the church in Corinth, Paul wrote “each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). Rarely will you hear us talk about money, but when we do we remember that God puts it on hearts to give, not us.
Do I have to know anything about the Bible?
Not at all. We gather to grow, not because we are already fully grown.
Can I just come and observe or do I have to become a member?
We have no formal membership, so you’re off the hook there.
The sound of Monroe City Church of God is filled with life, passion, and praise. These are the songs that echo from our hearts to our King—celebrating His goodness, declaring His truth, and lifting His name high. We don’t just sing… we worship.
